Horsetail Falls and Ponytail Falls

Horsetail Falls is especially picturesque against the green forest backdrop. This is a popular attraction especially on long weekends during the summer so it can be crowded. If you prefer quieter time, visit during the weekday or off season. You can hike the short loop trail which begins and ends at Horsetail Falls trailhead. The loop is 4.2 KM or 2.5 miles. Ponytail falls is located along this loop hike. Please note due to previous wildfires this trail is currently closed until further notice.
