Birkenhead Lake turn-off is 33 Km from the D’Arcy junction in Pemberton. To get there, take Highway 99 north past Whistler. The road to the lake is mostly gravel after the turn-off. The park offers tent and vehicle camping, fishing, boating, canoeing, and wildlife viewing. The park is home to grizzly bears, black bears, and mountain goats. In the summer, the water is warm, and several other small lakes are nearby within the park. There are several trails for hiking and mountain biking. Birkenhead Lake Park is an excellent option for those looking to enjoy some wilderness camping and reconnection with nature.
