Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls is an impressive 189 m (629ft) falls located just 48 Km from Portland. It is located in within the scenic Columbia River Gorge. This attraction is open year-round but can be quite crowded during the summer months. Parking can also be a challenge on busy summer weekends but it is well worth the wait. The parking lot is accessible using exit 31 off I-84, use the left lane. The best time to visit is early in the day or during the week if you want to avoid the crowds. If you plan on viewing the falls from Benson bridge, remember to wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes (Benson bridge is currently closed due to COVID-19).
